Most animal vision apps are a colour filter with an animal's name on it. This one is built the other way round: from published measurements of real eyes, then rendered live through your camera.
Point your phone at anything in front of you and look at it the way another species would.

COLOUR IS ONLY HALF OF IT
A dog does not see in black and white. It has two kinds of colour cell instead of your three, so red and green fall together into the same muddy yellow, while blue stays vivid. The red ball on green grass that your dog cannot find is not being stupid. It has gone.
A horse's eyes sit on the sides of its head and take in almost the full circle around it, but there is a blind spot directly in front of its nose. It cannot see the hand feeding it.
An eagle's sharpest vision sits in a deep pit at the centre of its retina that works like a built-in telephoto lens, so the middle of what it sees is magnified while the edges are not.
A fish looking up sees the entire sky squeezed into a circular window about 97 degrees wide, with everything beyond that angle mirrored back down at it.
A frog's eye reports movement more than shape. Hold still in front of one and you gradually stop existing.
A bee sees ultraviolet patterns painted on flowers that are invisible to you, and its world refreshes several times faster than yours, which is why it is so hard to swat.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Switch species live while the camera is running and watch the same scene change. Compare any animal against human vision side by side. Freeze a frame, save it, and share it. Everything renders on the phone in real time.

THE TOY TEST
Hold up your dog's toys and see which ones actually stand out to it and which ones disappear into the lawn. Most owners find at least one toy their dog has never really been able to see.
WHAT THIS CANNOT DO
Your phone camera records the same visible light your eyes do. It cannot capture ultraviolet, so the bee's ultraviolet flower patterns are reconstructed and indicated rather than truly photographed. It cannot capture infrared, so this is not a thermal camera and a snake's heat pits are represented, not measured. Everything else here is a genuine transformation of what your camera is actually seeing. Saying so seems better than letting you find out afterwards.
